The Bells
(30.11.2023)
The Bells
No bell sounds heard for
Quite some time, for, at least,
Half a year: silence. The church
Tower, nearby, quite modern,
Camouflaged, surrounded by a
Scaffolding, a garment.
Sounds of saws instead, ugly, and
Quite aggressive. The concrete
To be renewed, due to material
Fatigue. A tower, a bell
Tower, to be renewed, bells
Coming back – it is promised –
The not-very-popular (it has to be said)
Bell sounds, to come back
After a while,
But coming back softer, it is promised.
The rooster, a rooster,
Is said to return as well, or at least to
Reappear.
